| TrimmerGuard™ is designed to go over Cable TV lines,
Phone Lines, and Low Voltage wires, to protect them from lawn maintenance
equipment. TrimmerGuard is the result of years of product design and testing,
providing a light weight, durable, and inexpensive product that protects your
cables or wires.

| Material: Polypropylene |
| Polypropylene is an economical material that offers a combination
of outstanding physical, chemical, mechanical, thermal and electrical
properties not found in any other thermoplastic. Compared to low or high
density polyethylene, it has a lower impact strength, but superior working
temperature and tensile strength. |
| General Properties: |
Polypropylene provides excellent
resistance to organic solvents, degreasing agents and electrolytic
attack. It has lower impact strength, but its working temperatures and
tensile strength are superior to low or high density polyethylene.
It is light in weight, resistant to staining, and has a low moisture
absorption rate. This is a tough, heat-resistant, semi-rigid material,
ideal for the transfer of hot liquids or gases. It is recommended for
vacuum systems and where higher heats and pressures are encountered.
It has excellent resistance to acids and alkalines, but poor resistance
to aromatic, aliphatic and chlorinated solvents.

| Dimensions: |

| U Shaped: |
| Shaped in the form of a U with an open back allowing
for the product to be installed over the cable or wires,
either before or after the cable or wires have been
installed. The open back and the slot in the Weed Control
Lip, allow for the product to go over wires or cables up
to ½” diameter. Product can go over wider cables or wires
by cutting or modifying the slot in the Weed Control Lip.
The smooth round face of the U shape allows for a smooth
transition of the weed trimmer string as it passes over the
front of the product. This eliminates wear and tear of both
the product and the trimmer string.

| Attachment Wings: |
| Wings on both sides of product allow for the product
to be attached to a structure either by high grade double
sided tape or by drilling holes through the wings and using screws.
Wings are spaced 1/8” past the backside of the product to allow for
difference between foundation and side of structure.
The wings are located in the top 1/3 of the product to provide
the best impact resistance once installed.
The wings measuring 1” x 2 ½” provides the maximum adhesion to the
structure when using the VHB tape. The backside of the wings are
textured to provide the adhesion to the VHB tape.

| Slotted Base: |
| The slot on the front side of the product, located at the base
of the product, allows for the product to slide over the cable or
wire while being inserted into the ground. The edges of the slot
are all rounded and smooth, this protects the cable or wire from being
cut or damaged during the install of the product. The top of the slot
is rounded to allow the product to rest smoothly over any round cable
or wire.

| Angled Base: |
| The base is angled to assist in pushing the product tight
against a structure during install. While tapping the product
into the ground, the angled base acts as a wedge pushing the
product backwards toward the structure ensuring a tight fit
against the structure. The angled edges, as with the slot,
are rounded and smooth to prevent any damage to the cable or
wire during installation.

| Weed Control Lip: |
| The lip on the top of the product is to help prevent
weeds from growing up through the inside of the product.
The lip has a ½” X ¾” slot to allow for the product to be
placed over a cable or wire up to ½” diameter.
The slot can be modified by cutting to allow the product
to go over cables up to 1” diameter.
